OAVS Requirement

 The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS)  Principals, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Art Teachers, Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and Computer Teachers.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria

1. Principal

Age Limit: 32 to 50 years.


Educational Qualification:

Master's Degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

B.Ed. from an institution recognized by NCTE.

Experience in teaching and administrative roles. 


2. PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)


Age Limit: 21 to 38 years.

Educational Qualification:


Two-year integrated Postgraduate/Master's Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the concerned subject.


B.Ed. from an institution recognized by NCTE. 


3. TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)

Age Limit: 21 to 38 years.

Educational Qualification:


Four-year integrated Degree course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC)

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science in the concerned subject with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) along with a B.Ed. 

4. Art Teacher

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts from a recognized University. 


5. Physical Education Teacher (PET)


Educational Qualification: Degree/Postgraduate Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed) from a recognized University. 


6. Computer Teacher

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, MCA, M.Sc. IT, M.Sc. Computer Science, B.C.A, or B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University. 

🎯 Age Relaxation


SC/ST, SEBC, Women: 5 years


Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years

Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

3. Performance Test (for specific posts)

Candidates must qualify in each stage to be considered for final selection.
